Our holiday cottage is part of a small terraced row of cottages situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Port Haverigg, the cottages were built in 1880 for the familys that worked at Hodbarrow Mines.
Port Haverigg is being hailed as one of the most up and coming destinations in Cumbria, we have unique benefit of the beautiful beaches and the marvlous mountains of the West Coast of England.
As we are a situated on the South West corner of the Lake District, we are part of the Duddon Estuary, right by the magnificant beaches and sandunes of Port Haverigg, we offer you a purfect retreat and we are ideally placed for exploring the Lake District as we are only 30 mins from places like Coniston, Bowness, Windermere and Hawkshead.
Port Haverigg Holiday Village boasts it's own 200 acre lake, where Sailing, Windsurfing, Water Skiing lessons and Trout Fishing is availiable.
Anytime of the year you can come and enjoy the breathtaking views, take wonderfull walks or just simply relax in the tranquill surroundings.
